Horses for Healing. . .
is a California non-profit charitable organization dedicated to improving the physical, mental, and spiritual well being of disabled individuals, through their involvement with horses.

Our therapeutic riding program is dependent on volunteers, donations, fundraisers, and discounted professional services from the community.

We are a corporation conforming to IRC Section 501(c)-(3) Federal ID #91-1762639, so all donations are tax deductable.

Horses for Healing. . .
is open to children and adults. Currently lesson times are Tuesday from 1:30 to 6 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. to noon. 2008 Riding Schedule. Please call 530-887-9573 to set up an appointment for a consultation and see the facility.

All instructors are certified and our horses are well trained and gentle.

Become a Spirit club Member. . .
Participanats with disabilities, family members, and friends of participants, volunteers, and others can learn more about equine assisted activities by becoming Spirit Club members. You can join for an annual membership of $25. This will provide you a subscription to their quarterly STALL STREET JOURNAL. Included in this colorfull publication are stories and testimonials of volunteers and clients, as well as good tid-bits we should know in working around horses.
